Der gebürtige Grieche Andonis Foniadakis (Choreografie und Inszenierung) studierte Tanz an der Staatlichen Tanzschule Athen und mit dem renommierten Maria-Callas-Stipendium bis 1994 an der Rudra Béjart Lausanne. Danach tanzte er beim Béjart Ballet Lausanne, Lyon Opéra Ballet und für Saburo Teshigawara und choreografierte weltweit für renommierte Companies, so für die spanische Compañía Nacional de Danza, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Martha Graham Dance Company, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Staatsoper Hannover, Rambert London u. v. a. 2003 gründete er seine eigene Tanzcompany Apotosoma-Andonis Foniadakis in Lyon, mit der er bislang sieben abendfüllende Werke präsentiert hat. 2012 erhielt er in Italien den Danza&Danza Award als bester Choreograf für Les Noces mit Maggio Danza beim Ballett Florenz und 2018 von der Critics Union of Music and Theatre in Griechenland den Preis für die beste Choreografie für seine Kreation Galaxy. Von 2016 bis 2018 war er Künstlerischer Leiter des Griechischen Nationalballetts. Er wirkte als Bewegungskoordinator für den Film Noah von Darren Aronofsky mit. Neben seiner Arbeit als Tänzer und Choreograf gibt er auch Seminare, die auf seiner persönlichen Tanztechnik basieren.

Greek-born Andonis Foniadakis (choreography and staging) studied dance at the State Dance School of Athens and with the prestigious Maria Callas Scholarship at Rudra Béjart Lausanne until 1994. He then danced for Béjart Ballet Lausanne, Lyon Opéra Ballet and Saburo Teshigawara and choreographed for renowned companies worldwide, such as the Spanish Compañía Nacional de Danza, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Martha Graham Dance Company, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Staatsoper Hannover, Rambert London, and many others. In 2003 he founded his own dance company Apotosoma-Andonis Foniadakis in Lyon with which he has performed seven full-length productions to date. In 2012 he received the Danza&Danza Award as "Best Choreographer 2012" in Italy, for the creation Les Noces in Maggio Danza at Florence Ballet and in 2018 the award for Best Choreography from the Critics Union of Music and Theatre in Greece for his creation Galaxy. He was artistic director of the Greek National Ballet from 2016 until 2018. He has collaborated as movement coordinator for the film Noah of Darren Aronofsky. In addition to choreographing and performing, he also teaches, and his seminars are based on his personal dance technique.
